Focus on Learning – Literacy & Mathematics
The staff at Danbury Local Schools commits to implementing research based strategies which guarantee that EVERY student makes a minimum of one year’s growth and student achievement in language arts and math, in each grade level, meets or exceeds 80% proficiency as measured by performance on local, district, and state assessments.
This goal will be accomplished by the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
Collaboration – Professional Learning Communities
Educators work in collaborative teams, rather than in isolation, and take collective responsibility for student learning.
Every team will meet regularly to develop, implement, monitor, and assess the S.M.A.R.T goals aligned with and in support of the district strategic plan.
This goal will be measured by team artifacts and achieved by the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
Results Driven – Enroll, Enlist, Employ
Danbury staff will ensure that every student has yearly experiences in college, career, or service learning to build an individualized plan with the outcome of enrollment, enlistment, or employment upon graduation.
This goal will be accomplished by the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
