OTTAWA COUNTY CAREER SHOWCASE

We are excited to announce that the 11th grade students will be attending the Ottawa County Career Showcase at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, October 8th. During this time, area employers facilitate interactive, hands-on activity stations where students learn about various careers, including advanced manufacturing and skilled trades. Students will also visit an employability station to better prepare them for entering the workforce. 

**Students should dress comfortably, in weather appropriate clothing, and be prepared to walk indoors and, for a short amount of time, outdoors. 

Students will leave Danbury at 8:20am and will return to Danbury by 11:30am. (Students will be served lunch at the fairgrounds; however, they are welcome to bring their own lunch.) 

If you do not want your student to participate, please provide your request, in an email, to Mr. Hodgkinson (hodgkinsonk@danburyschools.org) by 12:00pm on Monday, October 6th, 2025.
