Dear Families,

Today, our students and staff participated in an evacuation drill as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and prepared school environment. Just as we regularly practice fire and storm drills, it’s important that we also practice how to safely and efficiently leave the building if ever needed.

With our recent renovations completed, our new evacuation location is the Norton Center. This location allows us to quickly and safely secure our students outside of the main building while remaining nearby.

Moving forward, the only time we would evacuate to our secondary location, Wesley Lodge, would be in the event of an active shooter situation. Our goal is to ensure that we can communicate in real time and make informed, safe decisions for everyone in our district.

Students will be returning to class momentarily as the drill concludes. We appreciate your continued support as we prioritize safety and preparedness for all.
